Artists impact the world in powerful ways. Art is a mutual language spoken in every country of the world— you don’t need a translator to tell your story! This Discipleship Training School allows you to deepen your relationship with the Creator as well as learn to influence the world around you with your gifts and talents.

A few times a week, you will connect with your specific art focus to explore ways of using your talent. From music to fine art, dance, photography or video there are plenty of opportunities to explore your creativity. This DTS is not an art school and is not intended to increase your skill in any of the art areas, although this will most likely happen in such a creative environment.

The main focus of this DTS is to help you learn to use your existing artistic talents to worship and glorify Jesus Christ.

During the MAD DTS you will have the opportunity to perform or display your creative pieces. There is opportunity for the students' artwork/creative projects to be showcased during the DTS performance nights, as well their creative giftings can be used in a missional setting in various ways on local outreaches in Brisbane and rural outback communities (in youth groups, churches, schools, festivals). We connect the students to a few of the running creative ministries in our area, like Beth Biri (house of the creative one) in West End. We dream with God, and with one another as a school of creatives about the endless ways that we can use our creativity to reflect God's beauty and extend His truth and hope into our world.
