WHAT IS 'RURAL MINISTRIES'?
We support local churches, empower young people, and share the hope of Jesus across rural and coastal Australia. By partnering with country town pastors and church leaders, we seek to bring fresh Kingdom energy & passion to the next generation through discipleship, outreach, practical service, and community engagement.
LIFE ON THE ROAD
No two weeks in Rural Ministries look exactly the same. Each year, our teams travel over 60,000 kilometres across Queensland and New South Wales, spending time in country towns, local churches, schools, camps, and community events.
COASTAL OUTREACH
We spend time in coastal communities, building friendships with tourists and backpackers through everyday conversations and hospitality. Many people who are traveling are searching for more in life, naturally and spiritually. Building relationships often open doors to share the Gospel, pray with people, and point people towards Jesus.
PARTNERING WITH COMMUNITIES
While serving alongside local pastors and church leaders, we get involved in all kinds of ministry. One week might include leading worship, helping with children's programs, preaching in a church service, or running a prayer night. Another week could be spent hosting a Discipleship Camp, connecting with students at a local school, helping with a community event, or lending a hand through practical projects around town.
Serving in more than 50 communities each year, Rural Ministries is all about showing up, building relationships, and being part of what God is doing across Australia'a vast & beautiful inland.
