WHAT IS 'GO TEAMS'?
We train, equip, go and walk alongside teams of young believers from all backgrounds to be Knowing God and Making Him Known. Making Him known through consistent ministry at the local level and short-term outreaches at the regional and global levels.
We know and believe that The Great Commission is not aged restricted. Go-Teams operate in a team that focuses on many different things. With the strong focus on team, we believe that each of us has been called to go, weather going is overseas to an unreached people group, to the local high-school or even training. We operate as a team, and have many different focuses.
While being apart of the regular rhythms of the base, we also focus on ministry off campus during our week, and with the local community. Ministries are but not limited to youth hang-outs at school, Youth Alpha, running Bible studies, speaking engagements, serving the homeless community, and so much more.
The ministry also focuses on overseas training, which encompass a variety of topics and development such as The Heart of Short-Term Missions, Sermons and Testimonies, Team Building, Cross-Cultural Humility, Skits, Social Media and Missions, and other missional topics. Our mission is to empower and equip the DTS (Discipleship Training School) and more.

Learn how to share your faith & the gospel with others.
HOMELESS MINISTRIES
Partner with local churches to be hands and feet to the under privileged in Brisbane.

LIVING EXPENSES
Monthly Room and Board Fees:
APPROX. $465 AUD/MONTH
For currency conversion, click here. Cost includes food, housing, hospitality, wifi, and much more. This does not include travel to Brisbane, visas, overseas outreach flights, vaccinations, travel or health insurance, or personal spending.
TUITION
Cost of Lecture Phase:
$500 AUD
This includes tuition, guest lecturers, Does not include things like visas, health insurance, first aid training, personal spending, laundry costs, outgoing calls etc. - please inquire.
COURSE DETAILS
The Basic Leadership School is one of our 2nd level training courses. The Discipleship Training School is the only pre-requisite to this course. The Basic Leadership School is a Certificate IV level course providing training in general Christian ministry and leadership. As a part of the training, participants join a ministry or department to outwork the principles and skills they’re learning. This is a full-time, live-in course, operating in a missionary position.
