Australia's First Travelling DTS.
Beach to Bush was the first traveling DTS in Australia and was created for people eager to apply their hunger for adventure to their relationship with God and discover who He has called us to be as ambassadors. We have strategically set up trips on the road that will take you to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches and mountain ranges. We are focused on channeling your talents and giftings to minister to our regional communities. This includes relational evangelism, leading church services, youth groups, going into schools, or helping with local service projects.
Throughout your lecture phase you'll spend approximately 7 weeks traveling to places in Queensland and New South Wales to minister in our rural & coastal communities, having class while sitting on our beautiful beaches, camping under the stars, meeting strangers who become friends, and hanging out with kangaroos... well maybe! After lecture phase, you’ll spend a further 6 weeks on outreach applying what you’ve learned. Whether you are a local or coming to Australia for the first time, taking in the beauty of God’s creation and witnessing what He is doing here firsthand will leave you forever changed by the Father and with a deep affection and connection to this great nation.
ABOUT THE DTS
The Discipleship Training School consists of two phases. The Training Phase where you hear topics that take you deeper into your relationship with God. You learn things like the character and nature of God, Hearing His voice, God's Father heart for us.The Outreach Phase takes a more practical approach and applies the principles of loving others all over the world. Teams from the DTS split up and travel to different outreach destinations. In short, you first get to know God, then focus on making Him known.

During the DTS, you'll have teaching on biblical topics such as:
The Character and Nature of God
Hearing the Voice of God
The Father Heart of God
Spiritual Warfare, Worship & Intercession
Relationships
Biblical Worldview
Cost of Training Phase:
$4850 AUD

OUTREACH PHASE
This is where what you learn is put into practice. The outreach phase is where you take what you've just learned in the classroom and make it practical! You'll be spending 7-8 weeks serving in different locations, locally and internationally with a team from your DTS. Outreach locations vary depending on the school and/or focus. You'll find out your outreach locations during your school. Fees also vary according to the location you're going to.
Cost of Outreach Phase:
$3000 - $5000
Cost varies based on destination. This includes overseas outreach flights, accommodation, meals, transportation. It does not include things like vaccinations, travel insurance, or personal spending.
