BEACH TO BUSH

ABOUT BEACH TO BUSH DTS

Travel Australia. Brave the Outback. Discover God.
Australia's First Travelling DTS.

Beach to Bush was the first traveling DTS in Australia and was created for people who crave new adventure and getting lost in God’s creation! We have strategically set up trips on the road that will take you to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches and mountain ranges. We are focused on taking your talents and gifting’s, and channelling them into our regional communities. Around 7 weeks of your program you'll be traveling to places in Queensland and New South Wales to minister in our small rural and outback communities, have teaching while sitting on our beautiful beaches, camp under the stars, meet strangers who become friends, and hang out with kangaroos... well maybe! In addition to this you'll spend an even further 6 weeks on a mission trip which may be in Australia or overseas.

We minister to country and coastal towns through leading church services, youth groups, going into schools and helping with local service projects! Come and join a movement to see God overflow into the outback and beach towns while growing in your relationship with Him. Take a leap of faith and see what you’re made of.

ABOUT THE DTS

The Discipleship Training School consists of two phases. The Training Phase where you hear topics that take you deeper into your relationship with God. You learn things like the character and nature of God, Hearing His voice, God's Father heart for us.The Outreach Phase takes a more practical approach and applies the principles of loving others all over the world. Teams from the DTS split up and travel to different outreach destinations. In short, you first get to know God, then focus on making Him known.

A WORD FROM
THE SCHOOL LEADER

"The Beach to Bush DTS has a special place in my heart. I am excited for the next school to begin in February and to see what God has planned for not just the School, but also for the country and coastal towns we will have the honour of serving in. One of the things that I love most about Beach to Bush is that we grow so close together as a group, as we each pursue a deeper relationship with God. I also love that we are able to reach out to others in our community here in Brisbane and other communities around QLD and Northern NSW, sharing God’s heart with them as we encounter Him deeper."
